Meet Dr. Bentley
Dr. Carsen Bentley grew up in Missoula, Montana. He played college baseball in Hawaii and completed B.A.s in Chemistry and Political Science at the University of New Mexico. He received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He also met his wife there! Dr. Bentley completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry through NYU Lutheran Medical Center, and went on to serve in the Indian Health Service for 5 years where he was an Associate Dental Director. He completed his Masters in Public Health with the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Bentley then spent 3 years as an Attending Faculty at the Dugoni School of Dentistry, taking care of individuals with developmental disabilities within the Special Care Clinic.
Dr. Bentley has been recognized for his work with the American Association of Public Health Dentistry, where he was awarded the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award, and the Community Service Award from the Dugoni School of Dentistry. In 2021, Dr. Bentley was recognized by the American Dental Association, with the 10 Under 10 Award. Dr. Bentley is very happy to join his mother-in-law, Dr. Natalia Nikolaeff Svensson, in private practice. On the weekends, you can find Dr. Bentley playing Bay Area Vintage Baseball with his team, the Sea Lions. He coaches his sons' little league teams and loves the Giants. In his free time, you can find Dr. Bentley cooking and spending time with his wife and three sons. |
